The Road to the First Temple Destruction - Part II - Free - In Hebrew

Dr. Yaron Harel is a Pediatric Critical Care physician at Valley hospital, Ridgewood NJ. When he is off duty, Yaron is a Bible and history enthusiast.

Yaron went on a personal quest to understand recent archeological findings in the greater Middle East that shed new light on the Bible’s version of history. Consequently, Yaron developed a secular understanding of ancient Middle Eastern geopolitics and the fateful events in ancient Jewish history that shaped our national destiny and ethos.

In the upcoming two lectures, Yaron will share his proposed narrative of the road leading to the loss of our national independence, the destruction of the first Temple and the exile to Babylon. He intends to slaughter sacred cows and challenge long held “truths”. Yaron believes that a balanced understanding of our national past may be relevant to current and future national policies of the State of Israel.

The two Hebrew lectures via Zoom (7/13, 7/27, 8-10 PM) were timed to stimulate reflection during Tisha Be’Av occurring on 7/29 this year. These are free events however, advanced registration is required.
